Encounters with the men's and women's national football teams continue as part of the UEFA HatTrick V Project, aimed at ensuring effective anti-doping education, considered a crucial pillar in the fight against doping and the first line of defence in protecting the rights of players and the integrity of sports.

Yesterday afternoon, the Federal Anti-Doping Commission of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and NADO Italia met the players and staff of the Under 23 national women's team in Coverciano, currently training at the FIGC Technical Centre for a friendly match against the Swedish team on Monday, February 20th (2023).

The secretary of the Federal Anti-Doping Commission, Paolo Nucci, illustrated the educational program and its objectives, while Dr. Francesca Boscariol, from NADO Italia, dealt with the main topics of anti-doping testing procedures, the Registered Testing Pool (RTP), and then recalled the List of Prohibited Substances and Methods and requests for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs).
