Privacy and cookie policy adopted pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter "GDPR"), Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments and the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of June 10, 2021

 

PREAMBLE

With this information NADO Italia intends to illustrate the methods of management of its website, accessible electronically at the web address https://www.nadoitalia.it/it/ (hereinafter also the "website"), with particular reference to the purposes and methods with which the personal data of the users who consult it are collected, recorded and used.

This information does not concern other sites, pages or online services that can be reached through hypertext links that may be published on the site but refer to resources outside the entity's domain.

1.PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

NADO Italia, as the Data Controller, collects:

a. Navigation data

In the course of navigation, the computer systems and software responsible for the operation of the website acquire certain personal data whose transmission is implicit with the use of network communication protocols.

In particular, this category of data includes IP addresses (a numerical label that uniquely identifies a "host" device connected to a computer network using the Internet Protocol) or the domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site and, more generally, other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment.

b. Data provided directly by the data subject

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses, the filling in and forwarding of the forms on the Data Controller’s site, entail the acquisition of the sender's contact data, necessary to provide a reply, as well as all the personal data included in the communications. Specific information is provided on the pages of the website in relation to particular services or processing of the Data provided.

c. Cookies and other tracking systems

The website uses different types of cookies, which are small text files sent by the website to the terminal of the data subject (usually to the browser), where they are stored in order to be retransmitted to the website the next time the same user visits. By means of cookies it is possible to record information related to the user's preferences, such as the pages browsed or the downloading of files from our site or other similar actions performed while browsing.

(i.iv) Lifetime cookies.

Cookies have a lifetime dictated by the expiration date (or a specific action such as closing the browser) set at the time of installation. Cookies can be:

(i.iv.ii) Temporary or session (session cookie): these are used to store temporary information, allowing you to link actions performed during a specific session and are removed when the browser is closed.

Permanent (persistent cookies): are used to store information, such as the login name and password so that the user does not have to type them in again each time the specific site is accessed. These remain stored on the computer even after closing the browser

2. Legal basis and purpose of the data processing

2.1 The processing of the data referred to in letter a) is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Article 6, letter f, of the GDPR and (47)) and is aimed at enabling the operation of the website and the provision of the navigation service on the platform, as well as monitoring the proper functioning of the services offered.

3.  Mandatory provision of browsing data

3.1. The provision of the data referred to in letter a) above for the above purposes is optional. However, failure to provide it may affect navigation on this website.

3.2. For the provision of the data referred to in letters b) and c) above, please refer to the respective mentioned notices.

4. Area of data communication

Data of a personal nature collected will be processed exclusively by specially authorized NADO Italia personnel, as well as by any third parties who will be appointed as Data Processors for this purpose.

5. Transfer of data out of Italy

5.1. Personal data are stored on servers located in Italy. It is in any case understood that the Data Controller, should it become necessary, will be entitled to move the servers outside the EU as well. In this case, the Data Controller assures as of now that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and in particular those of Title V of the GDPR.

5.2. Outside the assumptions mentioned in 5.1, your data may be shared with services located outside the European Union. In this case, the Data Controller assures you as of now that the transfer of data outside the EU, will take place in accordance with the aforementioned legal provisions as well as, where necessary, by adopting additional technical/organizational measures to ensure compliance with the EU level of protection of personal data.

6. Data retention period

6.1. The personal data referred to in letter a) will be kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed and in any case in compliance with the principles of minimisation and storage limitation referred to in Article 5.1 letter e) of the GDPR.

9. Rights of the data subject

You will have the right at any time to know the data concerning you, to know how it was acquired, to check whether it is accurate, complete, up-to-date and well kept, and to request its rectification or deletion in accordance with Articles 16 and 17 GDPR. You will also have the right to receive the personal data you have provided and processed with your consent, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to revoke at any time any consent you may have given regarding the processing of your data. Pursuant to Article 21 GDPR, you will have the right to object, in whole or in part, to the processing of the data for reasons related to your particular situation; if the data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you will have the right to object at any time to the relevant processing for that purpose.

These rights can be exercised through specific request to be addressed by registered letter - or certified e-mail - to the Data Controller.

The data subject has also the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
