What do we mean by education?
Education is the activity that spreads and diffuses values and develops behaviours that foster and protect the spirit of sport in order to prevent intentional and unintentional doping.
Are there any educational and learning programs provided by NADO Italia?
NADO Italia, through the organizing of events, seminars, and e-learning courses, provides information on anti-doping to Athletes, Athletes' Support Personnel and whoever interested in anti-doping.
What is the Education Program?
It is a document containing the learning offer, planned and developed by the Anti-Doping Education, Learning and Research Committee (ERC) of NADO Italia as to achieve learning objectives in anti-doping matters.
Where can I find information on events, seminars and e-learning courses?
On the NADO Italia website, you can consult all past and future events by typology, date and topic. Access to the ADEL e-learning platform is also possible as well as the publications and materials produced by ERC.
What is ADEL?
ADEL is the Anti-Doping E-Learning Platform designed by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) containing e-learning courses, webinars, quizzes and illustrative videos customised for the anti-doping education of Athletes, coaches, medical professionals, parents and whoever interested in advancing their learning knowledge on the subject.
Where can I find ADEL?
The ADEL platform is available in the "Home" section of the NADO Italia website. Once clicked on the appropriate banner, it will be necessary for new users to register to the platform, while those who are already registered can access with the credentials they already possess.
What is the Education Pool?
It is the pool of individuals identified by NADO Italia by Anti-Doping Education, Learning and Research Committee (Athletes and Athlete Support Personnel) in accordance with Art. 4.2.2. International Standard for Education (ISE).
Do only top-level Athletes need to know about anti-doping rules?
Anti-doping rules must be known by all registered Athletes.
Should the Athlete's Support Personnel (coaches, medical professionals, managers) also be familiar with anti-doping rules?
YES, Athlete’s Support Personnel must also be familiar with anti-doping rules as they are a point of reference for the Athletes.
